Harem Pants is a garment I have been wanting to create for sometime. This pattern is easy to sew and hopefully I have released it just in time for a late summer make. But don't stop there, as it will make up beautifully in lightweight denim and cotton knits for lounging about in, all the year round.
The waist is elasticated - recommend you use a good quality stiff waist elastic. The cutaway pockets are nice and roomy. The trouser hem is gathered into a cuff band that sits comfortably on the instep. Make them shorter for a different look!
In the meantime I hope you can visualise the design made up! When buying sewing patterns in my youth, I always preferred to choose from the tech drawing. I knew the look I wanted and I could visualise it in my chosen fabric. I will though have pictures ready soon and I'm working on the sew along in denim.
