At last this great classic shirt pattern is ready to download.
Based on a man's shirt - wide at the shoulder and cut straight - a neat collar on a 3/4" collar band.

Pleat Fronted, Wide Legged Slacks |

My new project is pair of casual, wide legged trousers.
I’m using light-weight black denim - high impact and easy on the pocket.
If you think wide legs may not suit you, try it first in something that drapes - synthetic jersey, a soft wool crepe or even pure silk for the evening.

Three New Patterns in Jersey
The simplest patterns of all but you have to follow a few simple rules: Use a narrow zigzag stitch on all seams - a straight stitch will snap as the jersey stretches - Jersey does not fray so you can trim all seams close (1/4") to stitching line - For edges - turn under stitch then trim

This classic shape can be used for a variety of formal or casual styles. A bow at the waistline and some feathers at the hem - very Audrey Hepburn. With or without a zip depending on the wearing ease. What could be simpler?

I love this simple waistcoat. You can use up small remnants by using different fabrics for the back and front.
Formal or casual, you will never get bored with making this up.
